How to Submit
To submit electronically, download the file located HERE, and fill out the submission form. There is no limit to the number of pieces you submit. Only one submission form is necessary per person. If you submit art from multiple collections or of different mediums, please specify that on the submission form.

To finalize your submission, email your art piece(s) and completed electronic submission form to luxcreative.submit@gmail.com. As the subject heading, please write "(Specified Genre) Submission." Ex. "Fiction Submission." For submissions with multiple art forms, please write both genres: ex) "Fiction/Film Submissions."

Volume 19 will be published in late Spring 2023. Any questions may be addressed to each respective editor at luxcreativereview@gmail.com.

Written Submissions

Letter quality, typed, preferably in 12pt Times New Roman font. Prose must be double-spaced and with 1-inch margins all around, and must be sent in word docx

Maximum word count: 7500

We consider previously published work, but only if the author retains the rights to the work. Please inform us if your submitted work is accepted elsewhere for publication.

Art Submissions

May be submitted as slides, prints, photographs, or digital files. (Each .tif or .jpg file must be in CMYK color, at 300 dpi, and at least 2400 pixels in its greatest dimension.

Emailed submission must include the date, size, and media of your artwork in the body of the email.

Submit one copy of a completed electronic submission form with all of the requested information.

Music Submissions

Published performers/ensembles will receive one copy of the magazine.
Film Submissions

Each submission should be accompanied by its own entry form.

Films can be submitted via an online video-sharing service (such as YouTube or Vimeo) and emailed to luxcreative.submit@gmail.com

To submit online, filmmakers must provide a link to their uploaded video on their entry form. (A link should also be included in the body of the email containing the form.)

Please note that editors may, at their discretion, contact filmmakers to make editorial alterations.

Submissions must have a running time of less than 30 minutes.

We cannot publish previously copyrighted material. As such, all music/imagery featured in submitted films must be original or royalty-free (unless the filmmakers have purchased the rights to a copyrighted song/image).
